How do you prefer your Premier Protein?

Goodness, I am not sure what flavors I like most, the Premier Protein Chocolate Shake, Vanilla Shake or Strawberries and Cream. Well, I have tried them all and I actually like them all, but chocolate is my favorite flavor, if you know me by now. I will have to say the Premier Protein Chocolate Shake is delicious. Just like the Vanilla and Strawberries & Cream shakes, the Chocolate shake is made with 30, or 18, grams of protein, including essential amino acids, 24 vitamins and minerals, provides an excellent source of calcium, only 160 calories and low in fat and only one gram of sugar.

Now, sometimes you, like myself, might not want to drink a Premier Protein Shake and this is why there is also the Premier Protein Bars to eat as well. The Premier Protein Bars come in a variety of flavors such as:

For all my family and friends who are gluten free, all the CRISP bars are the ones for you. That is right, even if you are gluten free, you can now eat these Premier Protein Bars all you want. Now, whenever you are hungry, or want something good to drink, there is no need to drink a soda, oh no, now you can drink these delicious shakes and eat one, or more, of these bars several times a week. There is no need to go without a meal if these shakes and bars, are around your home. They are great for work and school as well.

Eden Foods Should Be In Everyone's Pantry

Today, healthy snacking in just as important as eating healthy meals. Once one decides to go the healthy eat route, they do not have to give up snacking. The healthy foods of today, are usually found in health food grocery stores or farmer's markets. But, there are more places to look for, and purchase, healthy foods today.

In fact, all one has to do is sit go online. Yes, a lot of organic, or natural, food stores can be found online just buy typing in certain keywords. The keywords I use when searching for healthy snacks I want are as follows: organic snacks, organic foods, organic blueberries, natural blueberries, organic mixed dried seeds and fruits. There are a lot of keywords one can use to find the good, healthy food products they desire.

Dried Wild Blueberries, Organic<br /> Pocket Snacks

All Mixed Up Too

Now, if you want more than snacking foods around your home, although, these are really good for kids in school. They can be put in lunches or be great after school snacks. But, if you want more than this for meals, using organic dried beans or canned beans is always good to have in the pantry.

Not sure about you, but my girls love juices, especially apple juice.
This apple juice is so delicious. This company hand picks them, washes them and presses them without any chemical aides. This is a good thing and is one, of many reasons, why this apple juice can be called organic. Eden Foods takes their job of picking apples for their apple juices seriously.

Aside from what I have written about, Eden Foods sells these products:
  • Chili
  • Condiments and Sweeteners
  • Oils and Vinegars
  • Spices and Herbs
  • Teas
  • Whole Grains
  • Product Samplers and more.
Eden Foods is the only place you need to go to for your snacking and meal needs. They love what they do and they do it for themselves, their families and you and your family too.

If you are looking for healthy and oh so good to eat snacks, there is no reason to worry anymore. I found this awesome company, FoodsAlive, that sells such food snacks as Flax Crackers, Super Foods, Hemp Foods, Variety Packs and a lot more. So far, I have tried the Ginger Snap Flax Crackers, Hemp Flax Crackers and Maple & Cinnamon Flax Crackers. These are not the only Flax Crackers available either. There is also these flavors I intend to purchase next:
  • Mexican Harvest
  • Onion Garlic
  • Original Flavor
The best thing about these Flax Crackers is, they are made with protein & fiber, Omega-3 EFA's, Gluten Free and either 70% Raw, 80% Raw or Live Foods. These Flax Crackers are also USDA Organic.
Ginger Snap Organic Flax & Chia Snackers

Along with the other Flax Crackers I plan on purchasing, I really want to try the Cacao Nibs. Chocolate is my favorite snack of all time, as all  my family and friends know, so this is something I will have to try for my next purchase.
Cacao Nibs (Indonesian) - Organic (8 oz.)

Oh, and one other popular product today that I am seeing and hearing more about is using a glass straw. Yeah using a glass straw is a great way to reduce the plastic straws we are currently using that end up in our landfills. They can be purchased one at a time, four at a time, 6, 8 or 10 inch in length and there is also a bent glass straw. How cool is that!

Finally, all my family and friends know I love coffee. I found this cool coffee on FoodsAlive called Bio Coffee. It is alkalizing and a wheatgrass coffee pack. The packs come in a box and they are organic coffee's that do not cause any jitters. Along with this being a good way to drink coffee, the packets can be kept with you in your purse, backpack or car. All you need to do is just add water!

If I were you, I would not waste anytime and make your first purchase of these amazing organic food snacks that are good for you and your family and pass this along to your family and friends as well.

Are you eating the Barnana way yet?

Barnana, what is a Barnana you might be thinking. Well, a Barnana is a dehydrated Banana. The Banana is, somewhat, roasted until all the juices remain in the Banana, while allowing the Banana to stay edible, for several weeks. This is one of the best fruits anyone can eat. In fact, the Banana, has been known as the 'perfect food'. The Banana plant is mainly grown in Southeast Asia, or in more tropical climates.

When one looks at a Banana plant, they might not see it as an herb, but that is exactly what it is, an herb. This is true, the Banana plant is actually the biggest herbaceous flowering plant known to man. These plants can grow to be a tall as 10 to 26 feet and can be harvested year round. As the Bananas grow, they grow in what is called a 'bunch' or 'cluster'. The Banana, hanging in the 'bunch' or 'cluster' are known as 'hands'.

So, most people know what a dehydrator is, right? Well this is what is used to make these Barnana's. The Bananas are removed from their skins and placed on a dehydrator. While on the dehydrator, they turn brown, which is a good thing. There is nothing wrong with a brown Banana.

Once dehydrated, they are cut into small, bite-sized, pieces and made to last for a while in their packaging. These bite-sized snacks are delicious and chewy. Everyone is looking for natural snacks today, what a better way to stay healthy than to eat dehydrated Barnana pieces at home, in the car and on the go. When it comes to being healthy today, this also includes Non GMO foods. That is exactly what the Barnana snack is, Non GMO, Raw, Gluten-Free and Vegan!

Wow, that is amazing. An all natural and yummy snack, all rolled into one. With this said, there is also:
  • Zero refined sugar
  • Zero Preservatives
  • Zero Cholesterol
If vitamins and minerals are important to a daily diet, then Barnana has 20 vitamins and minerals that help boost the immune system. This is the best snack around and should be in every one's home, office, taken to school and so much more.

Oh and for all the chocolate lovers out there, like me, now Barana makes chewy chocolate Banana bites!

So now you are looking for a place to buy this delicious snack, just click HERE to place your order to buy some bags for you, your family and friends.

Organic Foods and Drinks

If you are listening to radio today, alternative radio, you will have heard or are hearing how GMOs are damaging to our bodies and minds. On the flipside, organic foods, are grown with heirloom seeds. This is a big deal to a lot of people these days, myself included. Just in case you are not aware of what GMOs are, GMO stands for: Genetically Modified (Engineered) Organisims.

Do you want genetically engineered foods in your body? Neither do I.

Please go here and read my article on Organic Foods and Drinks. I have added some great products I use for growing my organic garden. This will pay off, sweat, tears and great tasting food.

Homemade Vegetable Soup

This afternoon I made the most amazing Vegetable Soup. There is this website I found for people with illnesses. This website is called Clean Cuisine & More. When I was first diagnosed with the same illness Ivy had been diagnosed with, I did a lot of research on it, especially on the right foods to eat. Well, back in early 2006, I could only find one or two websites pertaining to any diet that would slow down or even reverse this illness.

I have never, nor will I ever, claim this illness as mine. You know how a LOT of people, with certain diseases say, "My disease" when referring to what is in their body or when you listen to all those commercials on drugs for "My disease", well I NEVER claim this illness to be MINE. What I say is, "This illness happens to reside in my body, temporarily but I AM healed by the Blood of the Lamb." I serve a God who heals and He is my Great Physician.

In fact, I dislike drugs with a passion and in the beginning of this diagnosis, I denied this illness....and still do today, even though I take this "therapy" every evening.

But I digress....

Back on track here, when I found this website, it was as if the Lord dropped it in my lap(top). Ivy tells her story and how she searched high and low for ways to heal herself from this illness. She knew there had to be a way, through diet, to reverse this illness.

God says, "My people perish from a lack of knowledge. Hosea 4: 6 (KJV)" and I have this on all my outgoing emails. I have always believed this, for any situation, and since I have been searching for knowledge on this illness, I knew my God would direct me to the information I needed to heal my body, naturally, and reverse this illness, completely without anymore drugs.

Ever since finding Ivy's website, I have read up on what I need to do in order to heal myself. Ivy and her husband, Andrew, have free recipes for current patients like myself and anyone with an illness or just searching for ways to stay healthy. I was so glad to see she has free recipes on her website. This told me she is not looking for a profit. Ivy does speaking engagements and sells books, but thank her for adding  free recipes to her website.

When Ivy talks about "Clean" eating, she is referring to organic and gluten free veggies, fruits, meat and breads. Where Ivy lives, it looks as if she has all she needs to make these meals. Even though I live in the Central Valley, San Joaquin County, CA..the bread basket of America and the World, I am unable to find all the organic foods I need to make these "Clean foods". Raleys and Safeway are beginning to sell more organic and gluten free foods, but it costs a lot.

My city does have a Farmer's Market in the middle of the week and on Saturday. I do my best to go to the Farmer's Market on the weekends. My city does not have a Trader Joe's, my favorite grocery store of all time. I have to drive to a city 25 miles away, in both directions, from my city. Or I will shop online at iHerb. In fact, I just purchased some of the organic products I need, non veggies and fruits, for the majority of my meals.

This afternoon, I made the Easy Vegetable Soup and it was easy to make, even with all the ingredients involved in this recipe. Leeks are in this soup and Collards. I added Leeks and this was the first time I have ever eaten Leeks, but I did not add Collards..only because I forget all the veggies included in this soup. Next time I will add all the ingredients, except for the bell pepper.

After cooking this on the stove, I ate it for lunch and I loved it! Wow for my first time making a HOMEMADE Vegetable Soup, I have to say I outdid myself.

Ivy and her husband are a blessing and I will have to follow her guidelines to healing, especially if I want to stop taking this "therapy" and be completely healed. Sometimes, the Lord uses everyday people, and not doctors, to heal those like me  from illness which found it's way into my, body.

**Disclaimer:This is not a paid article by Clean Cuisine Eating and More, but my personal opinion on this website and the foods given out for free by Ivy and her husband. Reversing any illness and/or heal is possible, if you know where to look. **
