If You LoveReading, Begin and End Here

For anyone living in the UK, you will want to check out Lovereading UK. In 2005, a group of readers, created this website for readers like themselves. The owners of Lovereading comprise of four individuals whom you can read about as you look at and purchase all the books you want to read. If you are looking for any particular book, but are having a hard time finding it, more likely than not, the owners of this website have read it and carry it here. There is no need to search all over the Internet for the book you want to read anymore.

Speaking of "any type of book", Lovereading offers more than one book genre for you. If you go to the Lovereading website already knowing what book(s) you want, or not, any of the Featured books are great to read. The Featured books allow readers to read between 10to 15 Opening Extracts pages, for free. These 10 to 15 pages allow readers to understand where the author is going at the beginning of the book. Being able to read Opening Extracts of books this way, is far better than purchasing a book and being unhappy with it once it arrives at your home.

The various genres you can look at and purchase are crime, drama, romance, mystery, horror, poetry and so much more. Whatever you want to read, Lovereading offers that genre, at your fingertips. In fact, if you would rather listen to books instead of reading, you can do that too. There are many audio books on CD you too can listen to the Opening Extracts. There are even unabridged audio books, more than ten titles to choose from.

Another popular way to listen to books is through your iPod. You can download I Speak books for Chinese, Europe, Russian, French, Spanish and so much more.

Now, whatever you are looking to read or listen to can be found right here at Lovereading.

Homemade Card for My Gramma's 90th Birthday

This week, I received my Elmer's Craft Kit for being a BzzAgent. Oh, it is so much fun being a BzzAgent. Did you know you too can become a BzzAgent, that is if you are not already.

Well, here is what I received in my Elmer's Craft Kit this week once I opened it. I had no idea how much was going to be in this kit. It was like opening up a gift, for me. Anyway, here is what was inside:

With all these items, I was able to make a card for my Gramma's 90th birthday coming up! Here are the rest of the photos I took of my making a very special card for my Gramma.

This is the final look for my Gramma's card. I also used the same paper and different stickers for the envelope. If you can see, I used my word processing software to write out 90th and Gramma and GG. These words and numbers I was not able to find in my craft store.

So, when you purchase these Elmer's craft products, you too can do what I did and make something special and memorable too. Happy Crafting!!

Pretty Daisy and Sunflower Writing Pens I Made

Making floral writing pens is a lot of fun. Not only are they easy to make, they are easy to give. When I began making these floral writing pens two years ago, I had no idea how to cover the sticky green/black tape. This is tape that wraps around the pen, holding the flower in place.

It was not until this year that I began purchasing all sorts of colorful ribbon. But, it was not until this week that I began using the colorful ribbons to hide the sticky tape.

The first time I tried using the ribbon, I was not sure how I would connect the ribbon to the each pen. Then, a lightbulb came on and with some fabric glue I have, I was able to put some fabric glue on each end of the exposed ribbon. With the fabric glue now of the exposed ribbon, I then laid that exposed ribbon across the ribbon hiding the sticky tape.

Here are the new floral pens I made and you can see the ribbon attached to the pens, hiding the sticky tape.

Are You Doing the Reuse Challenge Yet?

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Aladdin. All opinions are 100% mine.

If you are not doing the Reuse Challenge yet, you can begin right now. When you  Do The Reuse Challenge, you, your family and friends  will doing a 30-day challenge to give up those water bottles, plastic cups and all those food containers. In just this year alone, there have been more than enough water bottles, to fill over 840,000 school buses. Now, as much as we  love our bottled waters, there are alternatives to all this wasteful plastic use.

Sadly, there is seven million barrels of oil, in American, used to produce the disposable bottles Americans go through in one year. In the United States alone, there are over 50 billion disposable water bottles being used per year. That is 137,000 per day and 1,585 per second. It costs about $165 a year to make drip coffee at home versus $636 to buy drip coffee at your local café. So, not only are you saving money by making coffee at home, you are not using all those cups either.

Unless we change our habits, there will be 23 billion paper coffee cups thrown out in 2010. Nine dollars will generally cover a decent lunch out. If you buy rather than pack a lunch five days a week, you shell out about $2,350 a year.

There an online store you can go to, Aladdin, where you can kick that plastic habit and begin to do the reuse challenge. It is so easy and will catch on quickly too. When looking for reusable water bottles, there are many colors, shapes and designs to choose from. If you want to drink it hot, there are various cups and mugs to look at and choose from. There are Mugs and Travel Mugs, Desktop Mugs and Vacuum Mugs too. If you drink more cold drinks that hot, you can also look at the drink it cold cups. There is a Go-to-Tumbler, Clutch Water Bottle, Clean and Pure Water, Water Pitcher and Lid and so much more.

Did you know that you will save lots of money packing a lunch for work and or school too? If saving me is what you are seeking, then think about putting that  extra $2,000 in your saving account or wallet. There are over 12 designs and shapes you can look at, choose and use everyday on the Aladdin website.

Finally, you can now "LIKE" Aladdin on Facebook too. Facebook is the place to be these days and now you can follow Aladdin, with your family and friends, on Facebook too.

My Homemade Chocolate Coffee Spoons

When I was looking online for more chocolate molds, I saw these Chocolate Coffee Spoon Molds. Well, I just had to purchase them. I actually purchased two molds. Right now, I am just using one mold.

I am finding out that it takes a lot of chocolate or colored vanilla to make any candy mold. Even though it takes a lot, I still like doing this as it is easy and fun. I love giving them as gifts or for me and my family to eat a home.

Here are photos of my making the Chocolate Coffee Spoons.

Compare Prices When You Design Your Own Conservatory

If you love being outdoors, without really being outdoors, then you need a Conservatory. Did you know that conservatories give your home not only an extra room, but allow you, your family and friends to sit in the sun without getting burned or overheated? Conservatories are an excellent addition to any home. For one thing, they are that extra room you always wanted for reading, resting, playing games, throwing a party or anything you would utilize a conservatory for. Perhaps you would like a green room, well a conservatory can be used part for a green room and part for your everyday living and entertaining.

There are several styles to choose from when making your decision to add a conservatory to your home. There is the Victorian 3 Facet, Victorian 5 Facet, Edwardian, Gable Ended, P Shaped, Lean To and Double Hipped Conservatories. Any of these conservatory styles allow you to have glass used for a Dwarf Wall, Full Height Glass or Full Height Raised Panels.

The above styles are already made, or prefabricated, for you. If none of these styles are what you are looking for, you can create your own. When you create your own style or look, you can design that online. It is fun and easy when you create your own DIY conservatories because this can be done online. Right now, you can put together your own conservatory style and get a quote on the particular style you desire.

For the specifications you want, all you have to do is type in the approximate dimensions like width and projection wall in feet or metres. With any of these colours, they are sure to compliment the colour or style of your home. Along with the choosing your own dimensions, you can look at and choose the base style like the 600mm Dwarf Wall, Full Height Glass and Glass with Raised Panels. These are the three main base styles you can choose from and any one of these will be an excellent design option for your added room.

Once you have chosen the style and base for the conservatory, you can decide what the roof and door should look like. The roof can have ventilation, or not, have one or two manual vents or one or two electric vents. If you are not sure, yet, that can be decided at a later date. As for the doors, you can choose to have the door or doors in the front, left hand side, right hand side or if you are not sure, this too can be decided later. The positions of these doors would be if you were looking at the front of the conservatory.
