Using Essential Oils To Relieve Heartburn

Last night, one of my twins began to develop some heartburn. She is not a fan of chewable or liquid heartburn products found in a grocery store or pharmacies either. With this being the case, I looked in my essential oils book for which oils to apply, or ingest, for the heartburn to go away.

The essential oils that worked for one of my twins was 1-2 drops of Ginger and Peppermint. All I did was rub both oils over her heart and in less than 10 minutes, the heartburn was gone and she was feeling fine. Honestly, these essential oils we use, and I sell, are excellent to use for any ailment you are currently facing.

*Any child under the age of 10, adding a 1-2 drops of an FCO (fractionated coconut oil or grapeseed oil) is highly recommended.*

Calming and Relaxing Essential Oils like Lavender and Peppermint are Amazing

When my girls are having a not so easy time going to bed, I will rub a little bit of the Lavender Essential Oil on their foreheads or behind their ears. This essential oil smells so good and will make going to sleep easy. Well, I would say it helps my girls go to sleep in less than 20 minutes that is. This is also a great essential oil to use in a bath. All you need is a drop, or two, for a nice and relaxing bath, for "me time".

Another way this can be used is in a water bottle sprayer. Just add one drop of the Lavender Oil to a bottle sprayer full of water, shake it and spray your pillows, the air in your home and sheets for a nice scented home and whatever else needs a refreshing scent.

One other essential oil I like to use is Peppermint. This Peppermint Essential Oil is taken from the dried or fresh leaves of the Mentha Piperita herb. This herb is what gives this essential oil such a menthol type of fragrance. This essential oil has a sweet, yet minty, type of scent and is excellent, just like the Lavender Essential Oil, being used in a water bottle sprayer and excellent for aromatherapy and massages.

Peppermint Essential Oils are also good to use of one has a headache and is looking for some tranquility.

**Disclaimer: These essential oils were given to me in exchange for an honest and fair review.**

Peppermint Essential Oil is Can be Used for a Vareity of Health and Home Remedies

When I received this Peppermint Essential Oil in the mail, oh I could smell it even before opening the box. This is amazing and I use just a little bit in my water and sometimes I add a bit to my coffee or smoothies.

Of course, Peppermint Essential Oil is used for more than this. This is a therapeutic grade essential oil that can be used in many ways for the betterment of your everyday health such as:

  • Digestive Health
  • Calming Stomach issues
  • Reducing headache or migraine pain
  • Excellent for calming nerves like anxiety or stress
  • Allowing for better skincare as well

With the scent of peppermint being so strong, it will even keep bugs (cold/flu) and real bugs at bay. Another way in which I use Peppermint Essential Oil is by adding 2 to 3 dropper to a water sprayer, shaking it up, and spraying it around by front, side and backdoor to keep the outdoor bugs out of my home. Bugs just do not like the scent and taste of Peppermint Essential Oil. Yeah for us, bad for them.

Peppermint Essential Oil is a non-toxic product, but this does not mean you want to keep it in the reach of children. This oil is so strong, it is not a good idea to put it anywhere near one's eyes, just as a caution.

Finally, this Peppermint Essential Oil is packaged in the U.S.A. and is a great product for vegetarians and vegans alike.
